CN Software in Wishaw, Scotland is a software development company designing bespoke packages for small to medium enterprise needs. Their products include database systems, networking and indeed any kind of enterprise software you require.

The design brief was to create a familiar looking site, that  could be used by people with limited internet experience to initiate contact with the company. It was also designed to intrigue the viewer.

The company was very happy with the design and intends to adopt the imagery across its range of products in the near future.

3D Element is an Extreme Sports shop situated in Carluke, Scotland selling to a broad range of customers, but with a strong youth market.

The brief was to create a colourful site that had many features to surprise and delight the viewers as they moved through it. The site had to include catalogues of stock and the product ranges that the shop carries, and critically use their pre-developed pyramidical logo to reinforce brand image.

To add interest and ensure repeat viewings a gallery section was developed, featuring customers, and an  events page to engender a community spirit, which the shop's owners are very keen to promote.

Mcilwain & Associates is a heat transfer and fluid flow  engineering consultancy based in South-Lanarkshire, Scotland.

The brief was to create branding and a clean, simple site with minimal distractions to let the viewer focus on the services and engineering software products the company offers.

A main title (shown left) was created, and a smaller M&A logo was used as bullet points on the site and later on stationery and literature.

Wee Emms Dot Com was a personal site design. The owner is a dynamic young lady involved in the Glasgow software industry who wanted a site that expressed her personality and sent a fun, modern visual message to anyone who looked at it.

The site is non-commercial, and only a single page, as the owner uses the domain for e-mail but felt that she wanted  a 'funky little page'  to bring a smile to viewers faces.

This site has been prepared for a energy management consultant in the Glasgow area.

As the emphasis is on renewable and sustainable energy some photography of power generation sites was used and made into simple, but effective logos using resatuartion techniques to make a plesant but muted colour scheme that did not detract from the text.

The layout of the main site is a simple 4 box with integrated menu, and was designed to use minimum resources.

This site, at the time of writing, is under construction for Bell College of Technology's racing team. The racing team was set up by the Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering as an umberella for their staff and student motorsport interests.

The design builds on the Bell College herald logo, and expands with a new font to refelct the high--technology image the team wishes to emphasise. The star theme was taken from the herlad logo and is repeated throughout the site. A modern theme follws with a one page per click philosophy, rather than traditional scrolling, and a modern colour palate was developed to both highlight and augment the white, yellow and royal blue of the existing Bell College scheme. Allowance is made in th button bar for later updates.

As you can see there is quite a difference between each site, but all have one thing in common. Each one was developed especially to meet the brand qualities and presentation needs of each client, and present an professional, accessible, window to the potential customer.
